Finance | 5 Tips to Save Money on Seasonal Shopping Sales - Summer Edition

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a great week!
I am having a great one (if you're asking):
-The weather was great last week and we could spend quality time on the beach;
-I had the time to work on some quality content for the blog platforms and define goals for the next month (something I'll talk about later this month);
-Aaand I decided to share my tips on how to save money on seasonal shopping sales, because sharing is caring.

About today's post, seasonal sales can be tricky because we end up spending to much money on stuff we do not need.
Especially when it comes to summer (my favorite season of the year!), for me it's hard to realize that I do not need 7 different summer dresses. Even though I would love to own them hahaha.

These are 5 tips to save money on seasonal shopping sales  - Summer Edition:

  1. ALWAYS check online sales.
Many times the prices online can reach a lower price, or the brands are able to make different deals.
If the brand you love does not have a physical store in your country, you have no other choice but to stick with the online shopping, however, if it does have, be sure to check both and compare the prices.
Pro tip: never forget to check shipping prices! This may add up to your final cost and turn it into a bad deal.
Always check the free shipping promotions.

  1. Research!
Imagine you are looking for a specific brand, like a Roxy dress for example.
Do not stick to their online/physical store!
Find below some examples you can find on ShopStyle :

  1. Think ahead!
If it is late summer, and you find a nice leather jacket on sale do not let the opportunity fly away!
In a couple weeks will be fall and you already got a new stylish jacket for half the price!

  1. Subscribe to Newsletters
Brands are the first to let you know when something will be on sale!
Subscribe to their Newsletter (many will give a discount code when you do this) and pay attention to the emails they send you.
Zaful, for example is now running it's third anniversary sale, where you can get deals from $6.99 and Enjoy Extra 50% OFF for Fashion Styles at Zaful.com!

  1. Make a Budget (and a List!):
Know how much you want to spend. Sometimes we lose our minds when it comes to shopping (how many times have I left the checkout box without buying because the price scared the F* out me?).
For this reason it's always reasonable to make a list of what you want to buy, and how much you want to spend.

  1. I love finding sales online and planning ahead is always a smart move. I like to buy stuff through Amazon, but I don't always like buying things from there because the outfits don't always fit right. It would have to be a brand I know that fits me well for me to buy online in advance. :)

    1. Totally agree, the better you know the brand, most likely with will that things go right when you buy online! :)
