God knows Instagram is my absolute favorite app, the one I could not live without. However, part of what makes instagram great are the people you are following.

Today I will be sharing my favorite women influencers to follow on Instagram and the reasons why:

Michelle Obama (@michelleobama)

Michelle is an incredible woman to look up to, and not "just" because she olds two degrees (both from Ivy League schools), but also because she is an elegant confident woman and used her influence as First Lady of United States of America to stand up for the importance of education, for example.

Malala yousafzai (@malalafund)

Malala survived an headshot at the age 15, when she was trying to go to school. As a Pakistani woman, she wasn't aloud by the Talibans to go to school, something that's happening with too many girls around the world.
After surviving, she used the mediatic attention she was getting, and  joined her father to found the Malala Fund, a Non Profit Organization fighting for the right for education- something many of us take for granted, when millions of children are kept from having access to it.
She is also the youngest holder of Peace Nobel Prize.

Lilly is a Canadian YouTuber with over 10 million subscribers.
Between sharing positive messages and touring the world she is also advocating the #GirlLove cause, bring women together and empowering them.

As Disney star, Zendaya started her career singing, dancing and acting, but there's hardly anything she can not do. Today, she maintains her own shoe line - Daya by Zendaya, which won her an award as most influential fashion designer of the year - and, on top of that, she advocates for women and black peoples' rights.
